Who is Evans Brothers Consulting?
At the beginning of 2020, four brothers, Paul, James, Tom, and William Evans, decided to use their decades of experience in the security field to build a business that both serves the City of Boston and exemplifies their family values of integrity, trust, and commitment to the community.
These values were developed during the childhood of the Evans brothers. James, Tom, William, and Paul grew up on the second floor of a triple-decker house in South Boston, along with their two other brothers. Directly below them, on the first floor, lived their Aunt and six cousins. Additionally, there was a family who lived on the third floor, the result being there was never a dull moment in the household.
Growing up surrounded by family created the ideal environment for an exciting upbringing. Every weekend during the summer, the Evans went to the beach with their mother, her four sisters who also lived in Boston, their cousins, and their grandparents. James laughs, mentioning his grandparents would always sit adjacent from the beach at a local park to escape from the energy of a dozen kids. When it would rain, the group would move to a nearby ice skating rink and play underneath a covering in order to both get outside and allow the mothers to run errands while one watched the kids.
Billy recounts one of their favorite childhood memories as playing baseball with the neighborhood kids at the local diamond. James explains that all of the brothers played sports, and their father never missed a game; he would start at the field of the oldest and make his way down the brothers to the youngest, where they would then meet and all go home together. This lasted from little league all the way through high school baseball. These traditions fostered the close, lasting relationships between the brothers and their extended family that hold the utmost importance in the lives of the Evans.
During their youth, the brothers faced their fair share of adversity and heartbreaking times that forced them to lean entirely on each other and advocate for each other’s successes. They are all self-made, gaining their success through hard work, commitment to their jobs, and supporting one another.
All four brothers started their careers working for the City of Boston and progressed through a series of hard work and promotions in policing, firefighting, and utilities to become a versatile, reliable, and highly knowledgeable team. Each brother is an expert in his respective area, resulting in the most experienced and best connected security consulting company to make sure your business remains safe from any type of risk.
Before the pandemic, you could find Paul, James, Tom, and William at the Shamrock Pub in South Boston every Friday night, where they get together to laugh, tease each other, and come together as a family.
